A brilliant, high‑quality match at Hawthorns this week, played in beautiful surroundings and full of tension from start to finish. Hawthorns set a challenging 130 for 8, with Will G producing an outstanding spell of 3 for 25, all caught and bowled, plus two more catches in the field.
The chase began under pressure and at 25 for 4 the task looked steep. Albert O steadied things before an unbeaten stand of 73 from Basti J (50 not out) and Will G (23 not out) turned the game on its head. Basti hit the winning boundary to reach his fifty and secure a superb five‑wicket win with 14 balls remaining.
A fantastic team effort and a joy to watch.

Year 1 had the wonderful privilege of watching caterpillars transform from tiny wriggling creatures into beautiful butterflies. 🦋
They enjoyed the much-anticipated moment of releasing them back into nature. They were delighted that the butterflies lingered for a little while, almost as if they were saying a gentle goodbye. And then, with a flourish...they were off!
