We accept children from years 3-8 throughout the school academic year, subject to place availability.

For Years 3 – 5 (Lower School), we invite each child into Holmewood for a taster day, where they can sample and enjoy a day at Holmewood – this also helps the teaching staff get to know your child better.

For Years 6-8 (Upper School), children are also invited in for a taster day, where they will join a form class for the morning and then sit a Maths and English assessment in the afternoon. This allows us to get to know the child pastorally and academically and provides any information we may need for setting purposes once the child starts with us at the school.

We request a copy of the latest school report for your child/children. A Letter of Offer is then issued, and the return of the form with the deposit will secure the place for your child at Holmewood.
