STEMbotic and Drone Coding Workshops!
This week, Year 6 & 8 pupils took part in exciting STEMbotic and Drone Coding workshops.
The pupils showcased their engineering, mathematical, technological, and scientific skills by building and customising robots. They tackled tasks such as navigating zigzag paths and took on real-world challenges like designing a robotic arm to safely remove ‘nuclear waste’.
In addition, in the Drone Coding workshop, Year 8 learned how to code drones for precise movements and creative patterns, even teaching them to flip!
A huge thank you to Mr Barclay and Mr Anderson from @hyetteducation for delivering such an inspiring and engaging experience.
