All at Holmewood were so saddened to hear of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. We send our heartfelt condolences to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and to all of of the Royal Family. The Queen has served this country and the Commonwealth for more than 70 years, and we at Holmewood so enjoyed sharing her Jubilee celebrations in June, along with the whole of the UK. In an ever-changing world, the Queen has been a continuous presence throughout all of our lives. We very much value the contribution she has made throughout her lifetime to our whole nation and the world. We send our best hopes and wishes for Charles III and the Queen Consort for the future.
Congratulations to all our gymnasts who competed in the Girls-U13A v ISGA 2 Piece National Championships and 5 Piece Qualifiers at Haberdashers.
The exciting news is that they all qualified for the National Finals. A couple of special mentions must go to Millie who came 5th overall, and also Shekinah who scored the 2nd best vault in the whole competition.
A big well done also to our U9, U10, U11, and U13 team captains, whose leadership and encouragement were invaluable in guiding the squad through their first competition of the season. We are incredibly proud of all our gymnasts and look forward to celebrating many more successes in the months ahead.
