🧑🎤House Song Competition 🎤
The House Song competition brought all six houses together for a high-energy morning of music, teamwork and a little healthy rivalry. From props to animal costumes and a few surprise staff performances, every house brought something different to the stage.
Congratulations to Beech House for taking the win and well done to all involved, especially our Year 8 house leaders for their fantastic leadership and organisation. 👏👏

Year 1 had a fantastic time rounding off their Pirate topic with a day full of adventure. The costumes were absolutely amazing and so colourful!
In 1BR, there was swashbuckling fun making Fimo pirate coins which were baked and decorated. 1CH filled the room with pirate shanties, action songs, and even had a go at pirate yoga! Over in 1AF, the children explored pirate life through VR headsets, visiting shipwrecks, a Roman ship, a submarine, and a modern sailing ship.
The morning finished with an epic pirate feast under the lime trees before heading into the woods for some sword making with Mr Lee. And what better way to end the adventure than with a brilliant pirate story written by Keith Siddle.

To round off a brilliant year, Nursery spent the day at Godstone Farm for their Family Fun Day. The children loved handling small animals, spotting dinosaurs on the trail and cheering during the piggy race. They ended the day with a relaxed picnic in the sunshine with family and friends. A great way to celebrate the end of term. 🐖
