Year 8s Finish their PEP Projects
On Thursday 8th, our Year 8 pupils proudly showcased the culmination of their Personal Enrichment Projects—an ambitious initiative integrated into their Enrichment lessons throughout the Spring Term. Each student formulated a unique research question and embarked on a journey of independent inquiry, striving to develop expertise in their chosen field. The breadth of topics presented was both impressive and diverse, ranging from Colour Theory, to Bitcoin, to the Impact of Dairy, Dietary Choices, and the Influence of Fidget Toys on Learning.
While the final products were compelling, the project’s core objective lay in fostering deep, self-directed learning and cultivating intellectual curiosity through comprehensive research. During the event, students stood alongside their displays as peers, staff, and visiting parents engaged with their work. Attendees were invited to vote for the most inspirational and most intellectually engaging presentations, with these accolades—and others—set to be awarded at our upcoming Prize Giving ceremony.
