Cross Country

Well done all pupils who took part in this year’s cross country. It was a perfect day with beautiful sunshine and a gentle breeze. Conditions underfoot improved massively over a dry weekend, although the route around Berry’s Field had to be cut short due the ground being too wet. In this part of the course. Again, the races were run with 2 years together making the race more competitive, however, the races were all scored as separate year groups and calculated as Junior and Senior trophies.

Very well done to all the pupils who took part and showed real team spirit in supporting their house and fellow runners.  Sharon Porritt

Senior House Netball

All of the houses were excited about a competitive afternoon of netball and it was great to see such a high level of performance. Oak and Cob had to combine to make the mighty Oash, whilst all of the other houses had enough players for their teams.

It was a tight competition with lots of goals being scored. Cedar and Beech both finished first on the same points having each lost a match, but cedar came through and won on goal difference.

Well done to all of the girls who have generally come to the end of a brilliant season. The U13A team have the IAPS National Finals on 17th March, and we wish them all the very best for that. SP
