Maths Challenge

Following the Intermediate Maths Challenge that some of our Year 7 and 8 pupils took part in a few weeks ago, we are delighted to announce that we have 7 certificate winners. This is a challenge designed for Year 11 and below, so this is a wonderful achievement for the pupils involved. A big congratulations to Joseph A, Edward A, Jason Z and Freddie M (away at IAPS swimming) for their Bronze certificates, to William Q for his Silver certificate and to Divit B and Daniel L for their Gold certificates and qualification for the Kangaroo round in March. Visit to Regent’s Park Mosque and the Islamic Cultural Centre

Year 7 had a fantastic visit to Regent’s Park Mosque and the Islamic Cultural Centre, where they explored the courtyard, minaret, dome, and prayer hall, complete with a beautiful carpet, chandelier, and Mihrab. They experienced the call to prayer and observed the Midday Zuhr prayers, with Joshua even having the opportunity to take part. It was a wonderful way to bring their classroom learning on the world religion of Islam to life. Paul Morgan-Jones
