Trip to Leeds Castle
On Saturday we took the boarders to visit Leeds Castle. The first stop was a falconry display where the children got up close to some birds of prey as they flew between the crowd. We then went to visit the castle to understand the history. There have been 7 Queens who have lived at the castle since it was built in the 12th Century and it is a prominent part of the Tudor dynasty. We ended the day in the maze when some children took a little while longer than others to find their way around.
A good day was had by all and the number of sleeping children on the minibus home was testament to this! Simon Jervis
