Pre-Nursery & Nursery 7.2.25

Storytelling week…

The children have enjoyed a carousel of storytelling activities throughout the week, focusing on well-known nursery rhymes and traditional tales such as, “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”, “Little Red Riding Hood” and “The Gingerbread Man”. They were also keen to bring in their favourite books from home to share with their friends, and some of the Mummies came to read to the class. Thank you to Teddy and Margot’s Mummies in Pre-Nursery and Zadie’s, Lachlan’s and Joni’s from Nursery. A special mention to Cookie, Nature and Raven . Joni’s fluffy Bunnies, who also made an appearance. The children loved listening to “My Friend Bunny” and playing games with the animals. We are overjoyed to hear our parent storytelling sessions are in popular demand, so with this in mind we will be offering further slots going forward after half term. 2.45pm on a Wednesday or Friday afternoon work well for us however, we can be flexible. Please speak to a member of the Nursery team if you wish to book a time.

French day…

To celebrate French day, we will be running activities throughout the week such as making crepes, designing French flags and singing along to traditional songs. The children are welcome to wear blue, white and red clothing on Friday 14th February to mark the occasion.

Key dates….

Half Term- Friday 14th February, normal pick-ups including owls and late owls.

Have a great weekend.

Best regards
The Nursery Team
