This week, 4G had their book look and parent lunch. It was lovely for the children to have the opportunity to share their work with their parents, talking them through their learning journey so far this year and finishing with a jolly lunch together. Charlotte Hall

The highlight of National Storytelling Week for our prep-aged children was the incredible surprise visit from author David Walliams! He captivated the audience as he spoke about his inspirations and how embracing our differences can be a wonderful thing.
The children were thrilled to hear excerpts from his books - including his latest release Super Sleuth - and had the chance to ask him questions. They also had great fun sharing their Worst Teacher anecdotes with him!
A huge thank you to David for visiting Holmewood and delivering such a brilliant, funny, and inspiring presentation - one the children will remember for a long time to come. He also kindly left us with an inspirational message which will be displayed in the library.
