The Great Inter-House Maths Race

As part of England Maths Week, Years 5 to 7 competed in the Great inter-house Maths race. In Year 5, Cedar Team 1 won, but as a House, Oak pulled ahead overall. In Year 6, Yew Team 2 and Ash Team 2 were equal, Yew Team 2 narrowly winning by fewer incorrect answers. Overall Oak were currently in the lead by 0.675 points before Year 7 had their go…

After a fast paced Year 7 round, the winner for Year 7 was Ash Team 2. This gave them enough points to edge Oak out of the top spot and with a strong round from Cedar too, moved Oak into third position, with Cedar in second and Ash taking the top spot by 3.25 points. Well done to all the Houses for their enthusiasm and energy.
Final scores:
Ash – 65.25
Cedar – 62
Oak – 59.67
Yew – 58.17
Beech – 57.5
Cob – 49.33

Year 3 + 4 Inter-House Hockey

This week the year 3 and 4 girls joined ranks for their house hockey competition. It was great to see all the girls in their house colours playing with different girls and using the skills they have learnt over the course of the term. SP

Results will be declared in assembly on Monday, but below are photos of the teams.
