Welcome back to our old Holmewood families and a very warm greeting to our new friends, it has been wonderful to see so many happy, smiling little people arriving at the Nursery door each morning. The children have already started to familiarise with their new environments, adults and peers and enjoyed listening to the story “The Colour Monster”, focusing on feelings and emotions and how to be a kind friend.
Pre- Nursery thoroughly enjoyed meeting our music and forest school teachers, whilst Nursery additionally introduced themselves to our P.E. and French team members. We begin each day with a come together time on the carpet, looking at the calendar, weather, sharing news, and carrying out nursery rhymes or story sacks. Everybody was comfortable to tell the group their name, and talk about their Summer holidays, which was just wonderful. We are so looking forward to the term ahead and getting to know your children and their interests more. Megan Graham and Janet Adams
