Holmewood House Nursery School is situated in 30 acres of glorious grounds in Tunbridge Wells, providing the best possible learning environment for your young child. Our nursery department is an exciting, safe place for children aged 3-4 years to start their educational journey. We are incredibly passionate about our early years vision and what it stands for, and incorporating these values into our everyday activities is just one of the ways we set ourselves apart from other nurseries throughout the UK.

The emphasis of our childcare vision is on providing a cosy and nurturing environment for every child, allowing them to feel secure and happy and providing them with the opportunity to develop in a holistic, aspirational manner.

The importance of kindness, good manners and self-belief are rooted in everything we do. Our children settle very quickly within our vibrant and supportive atmosphere, where happiness is the key to our success from this early age. Every child is treated as a valued and unique individual. Our strong partnerships with parents and the caring environment we foster within each classroom provides children with a firm foundation and a secure start to their education.

Experienced and highly qualified staff support our children to enable them to make rapid progress at this age as they start to become aware of their own potential and how they interact with others. Through child-initiated play and adult directed activities, we provide the children with a variety of stimulating, exciting and engaging opportunities where they can explore and develop their learning experiences, helping them to make sense of the world which they live in. Our daily routine offers small groups and individualised programmes which ensure that each child maximises their progression in a happy and organised environment whilst experiencing music, swimming, physical education and a foreign language under the structure and guidance of specialist teachers.

We believe children thrive when they are given abundant opportunities to play in a creative and supportive environment and this is what we strive to provide in our Foundation Stage Department. We genuinely treasure the magical early years at Holmewood. Our children are a joy to be around and a privilege to work with.

We would love to hear from you and invite you to get in touch with us on 01892 860 000. Let’s have a chat about your child’s early years potential and how Holmewood House School can provide a solid foundation for their educational development.
