Year 8 pupils visited Dandelion Time in West Farleigh and gave their time helping with a wide range of useful projects. Dandelion Time is set in 22-acres of stunning grounds, providing support to traumatised families in Kent, and is one of the charities supported by our fantastic Second Hand Uniform Shop.
The pupils sieved compost, planted courgettes and different types of squash, set up an electric fence to keep the chickens contained for family therapy sessions, weeded raised beds and planted onions and potatoes.
They were a joy to take and were congratulated on their kindness, teamwork and all‑round helpfulness, proving themselves to be wonderful ambassadors for Holmewood House.

Once the exams are over we can look forward to an action-packed few weeks. From Sports Days and the Pre Prep Summer Show, to the 80th Anniversary Garden Party and the Year 8 Leavers’ Programme, there is so much coming up!
