Performing Arts Winners! 👏
We are delighted to announce that we have won the Performing Arts category in the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2025!
Mr B, Mrs Carter and Mr Parker proudly accepted the award at the ceremony in London last night.
The judges said that Holmewood House “stood out in an extremely strong field, by placing the Performing Arts at the heart of its educational experience, with deep engagement by its pupils, while also being restless in seeking new ways to support children’s creative interests.”
Well done to them, and all our fabulous peri and LAMDA teachers across the Pre-Prep and Prep! Bring on our 80th Anniversary Celebration Concert on Thursday evening!

Mr Morgan-Jones had the pleasure of attending the Sevenoaks School production of Guys and Dolls over the weekend. It was a fantastic show, and lovely to see so many Holmewood families, past and present, there to support.
He was especially proud to see former Holmewood pupils Antonia Mulley, Alex Leadbeater and Noah Chrysostomou performing so confidently on stage, Luna Bolton leading the orchestra, and Ruby Thomas working hard behind the scenes. It was a real joy to catch up with them afterwards and see how their love of performing has continued to grow.
Winning the Performing Arts category at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards on Tuesday made the weekend feel even more special. It’s wonderful to see how the passion for the arts that begins at Holmewood carries through to senior school and beyond.

Grab something to eat and a mulled wine from the bar before settling in for the main event: the spectacular fireworks display!
