All at Holmewood were so saddened to hear of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. We send our heartfelt condolences to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and to all of of the Royal Family. The Queen has served this country and the Commonwealth for more than 70 years, and we at Holmewood so enjoyed sharing her Jubilee celebrations in June, along with the whole of the UK. In an ever-changing world, the Queen has been a continuous presence throughout all of our lives. We very much value the contribution she has made throughout her lifetime to our whole nation and the world. We send our best hopes and wishes for Charles III and the Queen Consort for the future.

Year 8 Charlotte has been fundraising for this incredible charity over the last year after a family member was diagnosed. She ran a very successful stall at the Christmas Fair and raised £526 with her stationery stall last term. In the pipeline, are plans for a sponsored 8 hour non-stop dance`athon with her friends.
This weekend, Charlotte is taking part in the Walk of Light in London, joining thousands across the country to raise money for vital blood cancer research. The Holmewood community is incredibly proud of her compassion, creativity and dedication, and we hold all those affected by this disease firmly in our thoughts.
