Having created their Cubist inspired sculptural canvases, using cardboard shapes on cradled wood boards, the Year 6 children have been painting them with acrylics, exploring blending and mixing techniques and thinking about forms and composition. Pre‑Prep Concert
Thank you to all the children who performed so brilliantly at the Pre‑Prep concert this morning.
It is truly joyful to watch them, from the soloists who seem completely unfazed by a big audience, to the larger ensembles singing their hearts out or playing their recorders with such enthusiasm. A huge well done to everyone!

Our DT scholars have been hard at work supporting the upcoming production of Spongebob The Musical. Among other elements of the set, here they are putting the final touches on Gary the Snail with the construction of his wheels 🐌.
This project is a great example of the cross-curricular collaboration that happens at Holmewood. As well as set building and props, our pupils will also be contributing backstage, including lighting and sound where they are guided by a professional technician.
