Art – Abstract Panels

Having created their Cubist inspired sculptural canvases, using cardboard shapes on cradled wood boards, the Year 6 children have been painting them with acrylics, exploring blending and mixing techniques and thinking about forms and composition. Pupils in Y6 Spanish have been practising their oral skills using a game of “what’s in the box?”. They had to identify the object and make a sentence about it. Madame Simpson

Our Head of Pre-Prep, Laura Readman, and Head of Early Years, Sheilagh Schweitzer, will be sharing their expert insights and practical strategies to help your child begin school feeling happy, secure, and ready to learn.
