Year 1 have been enjoying the story The House That Jack Built in class. We explored the repeating patterns, rhyming, and illustrations throughout the book. The children also discussed the difference between stories found in books and the stories we share verbally with our families and friends. In our writing lessons, they have been working on character descriptions, learning to use interesting adjectives to make their writing more detailed and engaging. Year 1 Team
