Debating Competition at Sevenoaks School
Yesterday, we took two Year 7 teams from Holmewood to compete in an inter-school debating competition at Sevenoaks School. The topics debated were:
- Social media does more harm than good
- This house would allow humanoid robots into our homes
- This house believes we should explore the oceans rather than space
Our pupils were fantastic ambassadors for Holmewood House , demonstrating confidence, critical thinking, and teamwork throughout the event. We are delighted to share that Holmewood House Team B (Lavinia, Louis and Maya) won overall, an outstanding achievement! Bronwen Jervois
