IT & Digital Innovation
This week, 4H were introduced to programming in LOGO, a simple computer language that uses commands to control the movement of an on-screen cursor known as a “turtle”. We began by discussing the importance of giving clear, precise instructions and explored how angles are used to control turns. The children first revisited the Bee-Bots, guiding them through a range of navigational challenges, before progressing to the computers. There, they completed eight tasks of varying difficulty, each designed to strengthen their understanding of basic commands and fundamental programming concepts. Peter Meier
