Reception 21.11.25

This week RKS have continued their celebrations topic, learning about birthdays. There were many parties going on in the role play this week! We learnt about the different sorts of food we might have at a party and spoke about the different food groups, sorting food into what is healthy and unhealthy for us. We were lucky enough to have a visit from a dentist who explained to us the importance of oral hygiene and what we can do to keep our teeth clean and healthy. We also wrote party lists using our sounds as we begin to prepare for a party for our bears next week…! Katy Shelton

Dentist Visit

A dentist came to visit the Reception classes today to talk about the importance of oral health  – she was impressed with their knowledge  and each child went home with a dental goody bag.
