Year 7 10.10.25

Trip to the Tower of London

As part of their Humanities curriculum, Year 7 visited the Tower of London on Friday.  Pupils enjoyed two fascinating tours which focused on Elizabethan prisoners and protest movements. They were also able to view the Crown Jewels and go inside the White Tower.  It was a very productive and enjoyable day. Mr Bruce Crombie

Year 7 have started their first assessment exploring the different types of weathering around the school site.  They have already researched the different types of weathering and created a poster to illustrate these. They are now going to carry out an investigation to find out which sites around the school site are the most weathered. They will collect the data, analyse it and draw conclusions, before thinking about improvements they could make to their fieldwork. Katie Seecharan
