Oobleck photos
This week in Science, Year 4 having been looking at non-Newtonian liquids and observing some of the unusual features of them. The children donned their ‘labcoats’ and experimented with oobleck which, whilst messy, produced some exciting discoveries!
Seawig Photos
In English, the children made a seawig using some seaweed from Eastbourne beach (thank you Mr Meier) and various items they would find on the beach from home. They then wrote some fantastic expanded noun phrases to describe these.
“The seawig had lots of glimmering childhood memories waiting to come back again.”
“The beautiful spear-shaped shell nestled in the smelly seaweed.”
“The ginormous shell was drenched in a dark messy clump of seawig hair.”
