Sports Day and Father’s Day
It has been a lovely week in RSD, the children have been extremely busy creating cards and mugs for Father’s Day! We would show you the pictures, but we don’t want to ruin any surprises for Sunday! I was so proud of the children on sports day, and the comradery they all displayed to each other. Particularly well done to Alba who still competed several races even with a moon boot! – such a display of determination.
In math the children have been learning missing numbers and starting to count in 2’s. I was very impressed with how well they grasped this concept which is certainly showing me how ready they are for year 1.
The children have all done so well, a huge congratulations to all our duke awardees who received their certificates and badges. You have worked very hard to complete those tasks and should be immensely proud.
We had a special visitor also come this week! Baby Jonah and the lovely Mrs Davidson! It was so special for the children to see Mrs D again and have baby cuddles. Charlotte Lucas
