Year 6

Public Speaking Competition at Eastbourne College

On Wednesday afternoon a group of year 6 pupils from Holmewood took part in a prep school public speaking competition at Eastbourne College. Our participants did an excellent job and were proud ambassadors for our school. The boys (Oscar, Jasper and Oliver) were very entertaining and spoke eloquently about their topic : ‘ Reasons why you should never give up’ . The girls (Nilaya, Shekinah and Amaia) were equally fantastic and delivered their topic: ‘Why children should rule the world’ with passion. The girls’ team shared first place with Windlesham . Well done team Holmewood! Bronwen Jervois
