We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible success of our ski teams at the recent schools’ ski race. Our pupils not only demonstrated great skill and determination, but also outstanding team spirit and sportsmanship—true ambassadors for Holmewood House.
We’d love to build on this success and momentum. Our Thursday evening training sessions (held fortnightly) are held at Bowles Dry Ski Slope in Eridge from 5 – 7pm and open to all and a great opportunity to develop skills, meet teammates, and have fun. We’re keen to strengthen our “Junior Secondary” team and continue recruiting younger members—so if your child is interested in trying out, now’s the perfect time to get involved!
Who can join? No prior race experience required but children must be able to link controlled turns and use a button lift unaided.
Training/Coaching is given by Nigel Hillard, an extremely experienced and friendly ski racer
Equipment required many children have their own helmets but skis, boots & helmets are all provided FOC at the ski slope.
Parent Involvement All offers of help gratefully received! Parents are required to bring their children to / from the slopes and many lift share.
