It was wonderful for the children to share their learning with family this morning and there was such a buzz in the room! It was great to share all that we have been doing and to celebrate the children’s super artwork on the walls too! Some of our parents even got into the role play area to explore!

1AF have started learning how to code using our programable toys – Beebots. They had to set up a course with obstacles, plan the steps the beebot would take, write out their steps and then test and debug their instructions. It was so much fun, with their courses and instructions becoming more and more complex, we even had to spill out into the corridor. Antoinette Faure
➗ Today we marked National Numeracy Day with a range of engaging maths activities in Pre-Prep. 🟰
Year 1 and 2 pupils worked in mixed groups and took part in a carousel of hands-on challenges, including a place value egg hunt, scoring games with hoops and beanbags, a higher-lower number game, a tower building task, and activities estimating weight and capacity.
Well done to all the children for approaching each task with focus, teamwork, and enthusiasm. A great way to celebrate the importance of numeracy in everyday learning.
