Year 7 & 8 General Knowledge Quiz
This week it was the turn of four Year 7 and 8 pupils to represent their House in the Senior Inter House General Knowledge Competition. Teamwork, careful thought and concentration were all required in equal measure, as questions were asked on topics as varied as sport, History, Geography, Literature, Science and Nature, Mathematics, together with a picture round. A snack was served halfway through to help fuel the brain.
It was all to play for into the final round, but Ash House had cannily held back their joker and played that on this final round for double points. A joker and a choker had to be played by each House by the conclusion of the event. As the excitement rose, the final scores were in and in reverse order it was:-
6 Beech
5 Oak
4 Cob
3 Yew
2 Cedar
and the 2025 Senior Inter House General Knowledge winners was Ash House. Many congratulations to Elena, Matilda, Fernando and Divit of the winning House. A great afternoon and early evening of quizzing. Well done to all pupils who took part – it was fun! Paul Morgan-Jones
