Year 1 looked spectacular in their costumes for World Book Day on Thursday. It was wonderful to see all the creative ideas for costumes and how varied the book characters were. Wonderful! 1CH kicked us off with a fabulous World Book Day assembly, we spent time writing about the book characters the children were dressed as and we took our favourite books to the Tipi to share with our friends. On Tuesday, Mr O’Riordan, our Assistant Head Academic & Senior School Liaison, hosted a Future Schools Presentation for Year 5 parents. This marks the beginning of one of the biggest decisions families make.

Introducing our Year 8 Swim Captains, Zachary and Isla, and their Deputies, Nolan and Iris.
They kicked off their leadership at the Year 3 to 8 Swimming Gala against Somerhill earlier this week that Ben Stevens summed up as: “A wonderful celebration of teamwork, enthusiasm, and school spirit. The atmosphere around the pool was electric”.
Our Year 3s took part in their first ever gala and our Year 8s were outstanding role models mentoring younger swimmers with kindness and maturity. Ben said "their leadership made a real difference on the day".
A huge well done to all our swimmers and thank you to everyone who came to cheer them on. We look forward to hearing more from our Captains over the terms ahead.
