This week, 4H had their book look and parent lunch. It was lovely for the children to have the opportunity to share their work with their parents, talking them through their learning journey so far this year and finishing with a jolly lunch together. Charlotte Hall
Year 4 made some snakes to celebrate Chinese New Year of the Snake. Ellie King
In Science this week, we have been looking at pitch and volume. Using their carefully designed guitars made with stretched elastic bands over boxes, they have been looking at how these change when adjusting the strength of the vibrations. They successfully identified that the pitch depended on how tight the band was. A couple of children even attempted to tune their homemade guitars to play twinkle twinkle little star!
