Year 5 18.10.24

Enrichment

In Miss Price’s Enrichment sessions, Year 5 have been creating characters to represent the executive functions, and coming up with some strategies that they use to help us overcome challenges with these.

English

Year 5 created some fantastic desert island maps, based on a story we read about an explorer who was shipwrecked! Well done on your amazing work Year 5! Louise Moffatt

Geography Games

Monday lunchtime has seen pupils come and play a variety of geography games including Top Trumps, Face the Facts, Race across the World and Brainbox – The World.

There was even a surprise visit from Mrs O’Sullivan who stayed to play to play ‘Who knows Where?’ With Zoe and Leo and myself.  I think the pupils were better than the grown ups! Katie Seecharan

WoLLoW

In WoLLoW this week, some of the boys in 5PP delighted us with a song in Maori and a demonstration of a Haka they learnt whilst on their rugby tour. Madame Simpson
