Welcome back Year 4

Year 4 have been doing lots of work on place value this week as a start to our Maths topic. The children have had lots of fun in group work and paired work to solve place value problems. Ellie King

Roald Dahl Day

Year 4 have had a great team building day with a theme of celebrating Roald Dahl. A morning of activities, creating Mr Twit’s beard, making a marvellous medicine and designing a chocolate bar was followed by a lovely sunny walk and a picnic. Charlotte Hall

Safer Internet Day This year’s Safer Internet Day was packed with exciting activities and competitions to help our pupils learn...

🌿Year 1 have had a busy and wonderful week enjoying the sunshine! They’ve loved learning outside in their outdoor classroom and at forest school—mixing potions, creating drop art, sorting pebbles, getting messy in the mud kitchen, exploring nature, and having fun on the rope swing.⁠
⁠
They also enjoyed a calming and cooling walk through the bluebells—there were so many, the children couldn’t believe their eyes! The smell was incredible, and they really enjoyed standing quietly, listening to the bird song and the sounds of the leaves in the breeze.⁠

1AF also welcomed families into their Open Classroom, proudly sharing their work and excitement about watching their caterpillars grow. A big thank you to everyone who joined!⁠
