Reception

Reception have started a new topic of ‘animals’ and this week’s focus was learning all about mammals – the children learnt that mammals have fur, their babies are born alive, they feed their babies milk and that mammals are warm blooded. We created some wonderful pictures of mammals, we had lions, tigers, cheetahs and giraffes to name a few! RKS have also learnt how to make their very own animal mask, carefully tracing around and cutting out the shape, then decorating it and rose to the challenge of cutting out the eyes which was a little bit tricky! Can you guess who is behind the mask?!? Katy Shelton
