This week in Nursery, we have started our new topic on Nursery Rhymes, focusing on Humpty Dumpty. The children thoroughly enjoyed piecing Humpty back together and creating their own Humpty Dumpty puzzles.
We also explored rhyming sounds, focusing on CVC words and matching the correct sounds together. In maths, we introduced the number 4
It has been wonderful to spend more time outdoors this week. The children have really enjoyed the sunshine and making the most of drier weather.
We also learnt a little bit about Opera singing as our new Teacher Miss Wines trained to be an Opera singer. We got to hear Miss Wines singing and the children were enamoured by the experience. We will definitely be utilising her amazing talents!!
Finally, this week we say goodbye to our lovely Mrs Moore. We will miss you dearly and thank you for all your hard work. We also warmly welcome Miss Wines, who is very excited to join the team and get to know your wonderful children.
