This Week in Nursery
We have had a wonderfully busy and exciting time in nursery recently, filled with lots of fun learning experiences!
The children thoroughly enjoyed our muddy Forest School sessions, where they explored the outdoors and got hands-on with nature. We also celebrated French Day, which was a big hit – especially when everyone got to enjoy delicious pain au chocolat!
There has been lots of creative play too, including plenty of potion making, which sparked great imagination and curiosity. One of the highlights was making our bird feeders.
We also spent time learning about the importance of washing our hands. Using pepper and a soap experiment, the children were able to see how soap helps keep germs away by making it harder for them to stay on our hands. This was a great visual way to support their understanding of hygiene.
In our story time, we have continued with The Ten Twinkling Lights. The children especially enjoyed sorting the different animals from the story into size order. I think the photos from Forest school no doubt says a million words!
Have a lovely weekend,
The Nursery Team
