This week in nursery, we have been celebrating Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year!
The children enjoyed a lovely morning tea for Chinese New Year, along with a fortune cookie, and had the opportunity to practise their chopstick skills with some tuff tray noodle activities. They did brilliantly and had lots of fun trying something new.
The children also enjoyed writing about what they love about their mummy and daddy – all very sweet, with some hilarious replies! One of our favourites was the answer to: “Why do you love your mummy and daddy?” –
“Because I do!”
We have thoroughly enjoyed the better weather this week and have made the most of it by getting outside to explore and spend more time in nature.
Happy half term, everyone! We hope you have a wonderful time with your families.
