Reception 30.1.26

Its been ‘Up, Up and Away’ this week in RSS following our topic on Air transport. We have learnt all about biplanes, triplanes, sea planes, blimps and many more and designed our own aeroplane with junk modelling. Hot air balloons were also the order of the day, while first using the balloons for balloon batting, while developing our eye hand co-ordination then transforming the same balloons in to hot air balloons, while learning to measure equally and use a ruler to draw a basket. We also baked this week, measuring everything to the weight of an egg, using a balance scale. We cut ingredients in half, decided if we needed more or less of an ingredient, and mixed it altogether with an electric mixer. A fun filled week for everyone 😉
