Good Morning Performing
Yesterday’s Good Morning Performing was our first viola sandwich, probably ever in the history of Holmewood music. We had 2 viola players, from opposite ends of the school. William in Year 8 performed a Grade 1 piece having been playing less than a year which goes to show that it really is never too late to start a new instrument. They will certainly be glad of him at his next school. Our other viola player was Leon in Year 4 who definitely has the makings of a fine player, as does Tabitha, our Year 3 violinist. Other performers were Henry who dazzled us with some jazzy vibes on the sax and finishing up with a truly epic moment of creativity from Oliver and Tamzin who performed an original song together with Ollie on the piano and Tamzin singing!
