In English this week, we have begun our new unit exploring imaginary characters in familiar settings. The children have enjoyed reading the stories Not Now, Bernard and Lion in the Meadow. They then worked in pairs to create their own imaginative characters, engaging in lively discussions and bringing their ideas to life through collaborative writing. Year 2 Team

Every Friday 10.00am – 11.30am⁠

Bring your under-4 to have fun in our Forest School every Friday morning during term time. As well as organised activities such as bread or candle making or painting pine cones, there are bridges to cross, swings and hammocks to enjoy and endless opportunities to dig, create or just explore! ⁠

If the weather isn’t great, you can retreat into the warmth of our giant Teepee with lovely log fire. These sessions are a great opportunity to meet other parents and children, all whilst being in a safe outdoors environment. Mr Lee, our skilled Forest School Lead, looks forward to welcoming you. ⁠
