Welcome to Pre-Nursery (Bunnies) 🐰
A big hello to our returning Holmewood families, and a very warm welcome to our new faces. It has been a joy getting to know your children over the course of the week, and we are so proud of how quickly they have familiarised with our routines and started to build friendships. We enjoyed sharing stories, completing puzzles, engaging with the sensory polar tray, and venturing out on a rather chilly Winter walk! We have also been delighted to hear and see so many kind words and gentle hands as the children learn to share and turn-take during their play.
Over the course of the term, we will be following our favourite stories and basing our games and activities around each book. Our first will be “Owl babies”, focusing on signs of Winter, animals and their babies, and the different types of weather. We look forward to making some yummy owl oatcakes, alongside some feathered arts and crafts friends. We will let you know our book on the Friday before the week ahead, to give your child the opportunity to bring in something relating to the story if they wish.
