Our Nativity performance of “Baaarmy Bethlehem” was a truly joyful occasion! We are so proud of our sheep, shepherds, stars, and angels who sang with such joy, carried out the actions gracefully, and spread festive cheer across the stage. Performing in front of an audience is a big step, and it was wonderful to see each child shine in their own way. We are so grateful to our Holmewood families for coming to watch and share in the celebration. 🐑 👨🌾⭐👼
Alongside this, the children were treated to a wonderful Christmas lunch with all the trimmings — and had to keep an eye out for the cheeky kitchen elf! They loved sitting at long tables together, pulling crackers, wearing party hats, and tucking into their festive food. It was made even more special by everyone wearing their own jolly jumpers, which added to the fun and sparkle of the day.
Final Week Reminders:
🎉Tuesday 9th December – Nursery Christmas Party in the morning: pass the parcel, pin the carrot on the snowman, musical statues, festive snacks. Children are welcome to wear party clothes to Nursery on this day.
🎅Thursday 11th December – Father Christmas visit in the morning, 10.00am, followed by EYFS Panto in the Theatre, 1:30–2:45pm.
🎄 Friday 12th December – End of Term: Pre‑Nursery and Nursery close for Christmas at 11:40am
Please could we kindly ask all belongings go home with your child before the end of term, as we have noticed some of their wellington boots and spare clothes are becoming a little snug. It is bonkers how quickly they grow!
