Live Link – Wild Futures for Storytelling

On Thursday, to celebrate World Wildlife Conservation Day, Year 6 joined the World’s Largest Lesson as they brought a storytelling lesson for nature! Holmewood House joined schools around the world for a Live Link with questions answered by the online team.

During Wild Futures for Storytelling, the pupils discovered how to turn their love for nature into real impact, through storytelling. The online lesson took pupils behind the scenes of Open Planet’s film Ocean with David Attenborough, revealing how the power of storyboarding, narration, and creative storytelling can help protect nature and inspire hope for the future. Some Year 6 classes enjoyed acting out their role plays this week complete with props. They acted out a conversation between Jacob and Rebekah plotting to gain the blessing and birth right from Isaac by deception. Great fun and great learning for all. PMJ
