1AF celebrated Thanksgiving with an assembly about being thankful and showing gratitude. They did the story “Gobble Gobble Mr Wobble” by Becky Cummings where Wobble the turkey gets invited to Thanksgiving dinner. Year 1’s have been getting in the Christmas mood by writing letters to Santa and walking up to the post box to send them off. We are sure all the children are on Santa’s ‘good list’ so Santa and his Elves will be working hard on making all the items on the children’s lists. The Year 1 Team.
