Year 5 competed in the Great House Maths Challenge as part of England Maths Week. Each house was split into smaller teams to work through numerous puzzles and problems in a relay style competition. The individual year group totals are being collated to find the overall house winner which will be announced in Assembly. Alison Tripp

Last night, St Paul’s Church in Rusthall was truly magical as our Holmewood House community came together for a festive Christmas Carol Service filled with warmth and music. The choir was absolutely fantastic, with some truly breathtaking solo performances. And the readers spoke confidently and clearly.
A huge thank you to Mrs Carter, the staff in the choir and all the children for their hard work. Thanks also to St Paul’s Church for hosting us - it was the perfect setting.
