Year 6

French

This week in French, Year 6 set 1 have been developing their thinking skills, finding the odd one out and explaining their reasoning, reordering a text and putting sentences together. They have looked at how texts are organised and extracted key information from a longer piece of writing. Mme Simpson

Great House Maths Challenge

Year 6 competed in the Ground House Maths Challenge as part of England Maths Week. Each House was split into smaller teams to work through numerous puzzles and problems in a relay style competition. The individual year group totals are being collated to find the overall House winner which will be announced in Assembly. Alison Tripp
