Year 4 17.10.25

English

Year 4 have been working really hard on their descriptive writing this week, including using personification. They used their descriptive techniques to create some fabulous writing of a rambling isle in our book Oliver and the Seawigs. E Gorin

Abstract Circle Paintings

The Year 4s have been studying the colourful and vibrant abstract circle paintings by the artist Sonia Delaunay. Drawing around a variety of templates including lids, cups and bowls pupils created simple circle shapes and concentric circles, before using lines to divide up the shapes and to create imaginative compositions. Finally, pupils added watercolours, colour pencils and pens to complete their dynamic abstract pictures. Tom Johnson / Keith Siddle
