Book Binding
This week the book binders stitched their five sections of paper together using a kettle stitch to secure each one to the next. They all managed to complete the task and produced some very neat books ready for gluing. Catherine Duncumb

National Librarian Group Meeting
LIPSSEE is a friendly support network created specifically for anyone involved in the running of a Prep School library. On Wednesday Mrs Duncumb attended their annual meeting held at Aldwickbury School in Harpenden. Presentations were given on how to get involved in the Children’s Book Award, Alleyn’s School’s Big Read project (also a nominee for the School Library Association’s Enterprise Award) and new books published by Andersen Press. It was a very useful day for networking with other librarians, sharing good practice and ideas.
