Our week in action…
What a wonderful week it has been as we embraced the beauty of autumn! The children have been fully immersed in the magic of the season. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve been up to:
Our nature walks gave the children a chance to explore the outdoors and collect natural items such as colourful leaves, conkers, acorns, and sticks. These treasures sparked curiosity and conversation, and were later transformed into beautiful, handmade sun catchers. We then went on explore texture, pattern, and colour using mashers, rolling pins, forks, paint, and even conkers to design autumn pictures.
The children have also started to really enjoy circle times, where we talk about the calendar, weather, and share news. These moments are becoming a favourite part of the day, encouraging them to listen, take turns, and express themselves while connecting to the world around them.
