Entrepreneurial Day with The Apprentice’s Kathryn Burn Our Year 8 pupils had an inspiring day with @kathrynlouiseburn, finalist from The Apprentice 2022. First of all she spoke of her journey from education through to working, then to being on The Apprentice and setting up her own business. She offered her advice to the children who may be thinking of following a similar pathway. Following on from this, they were set a challenge, to come up with a brand-new tech innovation that could make everyday life better. Working in teams, they developed creative ideas, crafted brand identities, designed logos, and produced short commercials to bring their concepts to life. They then presented their pitches to Kathryn, who put their ideas to the test with some sharp business questions. Huge thanks to Kathryn for giving our pupils a real taste of entrepreneurship and a sneak peek into the high-stakes world of The Apprentice. Simon Jervis
