Transition Day Wednesday 18th June
Transition Day was a great success across the school on Wednesday! It was an exciting morning as pupils moved up a year group to meet their new form teachers, explore new classrooms and routines, and get to know their new form groups. The morning was filled with team-building activities and fun “getting to know you” games. Highlights included a lively three-legged race on the North Lawn where the new Year 6 forms competed to fill a water bottle the fastest, a fiercely competitive game of ‘Davies Ball’ with next year’s Year 7, and an imaginative challenge for Year 5 to cross the North Lawn without touching the ground. New Year 8 and Year 3 buddies were also introduced and set off on a scavenger hunt together—already sparking what promise to be some fantastic new friendships. It was wonderful to welcome all our new joiners and see the whole school come together for such a positive and energetic start to the next chapter!
